Rap/Break
About
Rap and break dancing were extremely popular in the 1980's and in recent years have made a big comeback, especially with male dancers. The term 'breaking' generally covers the moves done on the floor such as the six step, worm, windmill etc. Rap is more the overall term incorporating the floor moves as well a the moves performed up right (in modern day it also comes under the hip hop banner) such as ticking, popping, locking, waving, robot, top rock etc.
